In addition to his 15 #1’s as a songwriter, he has won 2 Dove Awards, 2007's SESAC Country Song of the Year, Billboard’s most played country song of the year, and most recently “Watching You” recorded by Rodney Atkins was named "Most Played Song of the DECADE", as well as landing at #37 on BILLBOARD'S "100 Greatest Country Songs of All Time.". He has had songs recorded by artists all over the globe including Jason Aldean, Rascal Flatts, Trace Adkins, Gary Allan, The Swon Brothers, Earl Scruggs, Kix Brooks, Sir Cliff Richard, The Shires, Mandisa, Jaci Velasquez, Danny Gokey, Kutless and many others.
