Ben Holst


Ben Holst’s material is a mixture of comedy and sincerity, acoustic and electric with lyrics and licks that tie the Mississippi Delta to modern day folk. Raised in Simsbury, Connecticut, Ben moved to Georgia for college and has been a career musician, producer, engineer and composer in the Atlanta area for over 20 years. A featured composer on the Netflix series: The Liberator, a GRAMMY® -nominated co-producer, and writer/ performer on the theme song for season 9 of Mike Rowe’s Dirty Jobs, Holst has worked with artists ranging from The Indigo Girls to Donald Glover (Childish Gambino) and Whispering Bill Anderson.Ben is an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and has been on studio recordings too numerous to list. After years in supporting roles, Ben has finally taken the step to come out on his own as a songwriter and performer.
