Cale Dodds

Cale Dodds is a Georgia native who moved to Nashville, TN in 2011 and quickly hit the road, touring alongside acts like Sam Hunt, Brett Eldredge, Billy Currington, and Chase Rice. His live show is where rock ‘n’ roll energy meets country soul—an electric mix that’s become his signature.
Before signing with Warner Music Nashville, Dodds built his fanbase the old-fashioned way: face-to-face and city-by-city. That relentless drive paid off, earning over 30 million independent digital streams. Industry tastemakers soon took notice—Rolling Stone named him one of their “New Country Artists You Need to Know,” while CMT Listen Up and Pandora spotlighted him as an artist on the rise. Billboard also praised his CMA Fest performance as “one of the best shows to see.”
As a songwriter, Dodds made an early impact with the Top 20 single “(This Ain’t No) Drunk Dial” by A Thousand Horses, and later co-wrote the two-week No. 1 hit “Drinkin’ Beer. Talkin’ God. Amen.” by Chase Rice featuring Florida Georgia Line. His songs have been featured across film and television, including College GameDay, ABC’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve, national campaigns for Chevy and RAM Trucks, as well as placements on ESPN, CBS, and the Madden NFL video game series.
With additional cuts by artists like Chris Young, Scotty McCreery, Canaan Smith, Cassadee Pope, and Lit, Dodds continues to be a trusted voice in the writing room. Now, he’s stepping confidently into a new chapter of artistry and creativity—releasing fresh music every 6–8 weeks and proving that his best is still to come. That evolution takes center stage on his recent EP release, Current Nostalgia, a collection that reflects where Cale Dodds has been and where he’s headed next.
