Dr. Cheryl Jones is a multi-talented, multi-tasking member within the Gulf Coast Communities along the Panhandle of Florida. Cheryl's Leadership Experience includes being the Director of a College Jazz Band, teaching at the university level, and teaching privately while serving as Director of her own Music School, Emerald Coast Music. She is mostly credited as being the leader of the favorite local musical group, Jones and Company.

Cheryl's college courses cover the gamut from Voice, Piano, Film Music, Music History, and Jazz History to Ethics and Philosophy. While teaching, she has also found time to produce, record and release seven compact discs containing her original music, and arrangements of popular favorites, all of which have been well-received

Born in Detroit Michigan, Cheryl attended Wayne State University as a Jazz Studies major. She later received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance, along with her Master’s in Interdisciplinary Humanities with concentrations in Music, Psychology, and Philosophy, from the University of West Florida in Pensacola. She has since completed her Doctorate in Education Curriculum and Instruction and Diversity Studies

Cheryl continues to entertain and inspire with her lectures, writings, and performances.
