Native to Dixon, IL Gina Venier is a midwest girl through and through, and it’s shown in in her straight forward approach to songwriting, saying exactly what she means, while also making everyone feel a part of the party. This all shines in the raw character in her voice, underneath a rhythmic background Venier’s honesty and authenticity continues to command attention from all audiences and all genres in a way only a force of nature could do. 

Venier’s background as a multi-instrumentalist, writer, and producer, sets her a part from the rest, with her raw and honest songwriting approach, and rhythmic production style (Venier has played drums on mostly all of her records), she’s spent the last decade honing her craft in Nashville, where she defies fitting into a genre, blending in both the country and Americana music scene. 

Over the years of writing and performing, Venier has appeared on American Idol, wowing judges and landing her a spot on 2013’s overall Top 48 on the show. Venier continued her pursuits as a writer and artist in Nashville, honing her craft as a percussion player for other artists in the Nashville music community.
