Scott Crompton has had a fascinating and diverse career in the music industry. With nearly 50 years of performing, touring, recording, and songwriting experience, he has shared the stage and studio with notable figures in the music world including Bob Margolin, Hubert Sumlin, Darryl Jones, Bernard Fowler of the Rolling Stones, Johnny Shines, and Daniel Lanois.
Scott owned and operated a world-class music studio, founded and produced mega music festivals, and worked as a staff writer, and key-note speaker for music conferences and universities.
Crompton's rich and varied musical journey has produced a diverse song catalog, ranging from modern music adventures to delta blues and Americana, reflecting his versatility and storytelling prowess.
For the 2011 30a Songwriters Festival, Scott assembled an eclectic group of experienced musicians to form the band The Wildlife Specials becoming a staple in the festival each and every year since.
