The Wildlife Specials are an Americana and Rock N’ Roll band with over 100 years of touring, recording and songwriting experience between them.

The Wildlife Specials are a unique assortment of former touring and studio players who call Santa Rosa Beach home.

After sharing the stage and studio with the likes of Bob Margolin, Hubert Sumlin, Darryl Jones and Bernard Fowler of the Rolling Stones, Widespread Panic, Johnny Shines, Willy Green, Daniel Lanois, Zac Brown, JJ Grey, among many others, they unceremoniously ended up in Santa Rosa Beach and decided to form The Wildlife Specials for the 30A Songwriters Festival in 2011 and have been a staple in the Fest ever since.

With a song catalog as diverse as their studio and road experiences, The Wildlife Specials is truly a combination of the top players loving the opportunity to have found one another and formed this musical experience right here in their beach community.
