Thomas Allain

Thomas Allain is a songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Gainesville, Florida, crafting what he calls “sentimental indie folk rock”. His music touches on the angst and longing of the current moment and constructs a delicate, yet rocking atmosphere.
In January 2025, Thomas began recording his debut solo album at Ivy Manor Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, with producer Dan Hannon, whose credits include Manchester Orchestra, Julien Baker, and Paris Jackson. The sessions focused on capturing live performances and moments with a goal to capture the “band in a room” feel. The first single, “Footprints in the Stone,” co-written with Jordan Burchel and released on June 14, 2025, sets the tone for a record that’s reflective and deeply human.
Before working under his own name, Thomas fronted The Late Night Losers, performing across the Southeast and appearing at the 2024 30A Songwriters Festival. He also toured as a member of Cat Ridgeway & The Tourists, gaining experience on the road and a sense of how to lead a rock and roll band.
Now pursuing his solo work, Thomas draws from those experiences to create performances that feel close and intentional. Every song is part of a longer conversation about where we come from and how we move forward.
