Uncle Dave Griffin

grand-boulevard.jpg

Uncle Dave Griffin, songwriter, podcast host, author, and founder of the Annual Gram Parsons Guitar Pull festival in Waycross, Georgia, will be picking and singing between Waycross, St. Simons Island, Macon, Athens, and Kentucky, in bars, listening rooms, picking circles, and festivals; so, you have to plan your moves to catch him in home territory. His original songs travel smoothly across the genres of Americana: Blues – Country – Folk – and Roots Rock, landing him publishing contracts with The Lowery Group/Bicycle Music Company over the years. Something In The Water, co hosted by Uncle Dave and Sean Clark of The Pine Box Dwellers, airs bi-weekly on all podcast outlets. In 2016, Uncle Dave began writing a weekly blog called Tail of the Weak, a series of personal insights and musical memories. A collection of these blogs was published by Aakenbaaken & Kent in December 2018, titled Tails of the Weak: From Doghill to Tripoli and Back. The southern singer-songwriter has toured with Leon Russell

and brought Leon, Dr. Ralph Stanley, Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives, Firefall, The Kentucky Headhunters, Jim Lauderdale, Walter Egan, Jay Farrar, Ian Dunlop, Abe Partridge and a host of other talent to the Guitar Pull.
